Paris! The City of Light, romance, art and sheer luxury..It is one of my favourite European cities that I have visited visited. There are fantastic restaurants, shops and wine bars on every corner, world-class museums and attractions. It is a city that revels in fashion, grand hotels, graceful architecture and gardens.

The Eiffel Tower is undeniably the most iconic symbol of Paris. It has an amazing architecture that is beautiful to look at night and day. It is the tallest man made structure in the world for over 40 years. The highlight of visiting the Eiffel Tower is certainly the views both from the top and bottom. It is truly is an elegant structure. It stands much broader than it looks on the pictures I have seen and I enjoyed exploring the sparkle of Eiffel Tower at night.

Paris would not be Paris without the magnificent Louvre Museum. A splendid art museum and one of the largest of its kind in the world, the Louvre is home to an extensive collection which spans from the middle Ages to the mid-19th century. The Louvre was so vast that we spent several days exploring its exhibitions. There were thousands of amazing sculptures, paintings, and drawings in Louvre. I loved the following art pieces in Louvre.

Montmartre was different from the other districts of Paris because of its atmosphere. A walk in Montmartre was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Located on the hilltop is the beautiful Basilica Sacre-Coeur where we had panoramic view of the whole city. Next to the Sacre-Coeur was a house that seems to be sinking into the ground. This was a visual trick but still fun to try and photograph!

On a small island in the Seine river, the world famous Notre-Dame Cathedral is located. Notre Dame Cathedral, also known as Notre Dame de Paris is said to be an amazing example of French Gothic architecture across the world. It is not just a site of worship, it is a place with a rich history and significant architectural achievements.Thousands of years after its construction, people still travel the world over to marvel at its beauty. It is one of the must-visit places in Paris, known for its architectural style, rich history, antiquity and is considered as the symbol of worship France. The design of Notre Dame’s outstanding towers, stained glass, and spires will take your breathe away.
